Purpose of the processing of personal data
Personal data is processed in situations where a person logs in to the Jobportal.fi service and creates a user profile for himself or herself, either as a job seeker or employer. Personal data is also processed when the registrant prepares job applications or advertisements or when the job seeker decides to introduce a job watcher through the Jobportal.fi service. Once a job watcher has been selected for deployment, the job seeker will receive recommendations on suitable job postings for him or her. For this purpose, the data controller stores the profile information stored in the service by the data subject in the service.

Regulated disclosures and recipients of information
When Jobportal processes personal information, personal information is sometimes shared with other parties. These other parties are Data Processors.
Data controllers are companies that operate under a binding legal agreement with Jobportal and that may process data only for the specific purposes permitted by Jobportal and use other third parties for processing only if Jobportal so authorizes. A job seeker logged in to the service sends job applications and information to the employers of their choice through the service, and then a relationship is established between the job seeker and the employer similar to the relationship between the registrar and the data subject. -
Data transfer outside the EU or Europe
We do not transfer any information in the register outside the EU or the EEA.
-
Registry security principles
It is important to us that the personal information you provide is secure. The information stored in the Jobportal.fi service has been collected in the system of the registrar, which is protected by the security software of the operating system.
Access to the system requires a username and password. The registrant can only process his own personal data with his username. The service has been implemented in such a way that only those employers using the service to whom the job seeker has sent his or her job application have access to the job seeker's information.
-
Retention and destruction of data in the personal register
As a rule, the data of a person registered for the service is stored in the system as long as he or she is registered for the service. If the user is deleted, the data will then be kept for another 2 years, for example for marketing purposes. If the username has not been used for 2 years, the username and profile information can be deleted from the system. Job applications sent to the employer by the job seeker via the Jobportal.fi service remain in the system of the employer organization according to the retention periods specified by them.
